Plated Dinner

I must tell you that last night met and exceeded all expectations.

Jonathan and Brianna were consummate professionals, ultra friendly, very versed on the food and preparation, and perfect for this type of occasion.

The setup and takedown was seamless and invisible.  Sign of professionals

Now the food:
We could have eaten the appetizers all night.  They were all wonderful.  We all were commented that those shrimp cakes would make an amazing main course served over an arugula salad or something…one of the best things we have ever had.

The bisque was sensational and had so many perfect elements of potato, veg, and of course the seafood.  Not sure how the cod became the star, but it was perfection.

The salad was a light and perfect transition.

We all commented that the sole dish was possibly one of the best fish dishes we ever ate.  Light, buttery, flaky…  the entire package with the beans, risotto, oil, herbs was beautiful and well balanced.

By the time dessert came we were terribly full, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the pots de creme.

We will spread the word and certainly enjoy ordering from the cafe as well as dinner parties in the future”
